Our Response To COVID-19

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT US…

The primary focus of the Rainbow Dreams Early Learning Academy is to work with the “at risk” and “under-served” population of Las Vegas as defined by state statutes. We provide a firm educational foundation while encouraging diversity and cultural appreciation. We provide smaller more manageable teacher-to-student ratios and a highly qualified faculty and staff. We also offer outreach support programs to maximize collaboration between parents, students, and faculty and we pride ourselves on providing a challenging academic curriculum that focuses on early childhood literacy.

Rainbow Dreams Early Learning Academy is committed to providing our young students a strong educational foundation. The Academy officially opened its doors on August 27, 2007, with 52 students. On February 4, 2008, we moved from a temporary location into our newly constructed, 16,887 square foot, state-of-the-art facility.

The Rainbow Dreams Early Learning Academy serves as a primary provider of early childhood education, family engagement, and professional development programming and services in the historic Westside of Clark County, Nevada. In addition to serving as an early childhood education center and child care and enrichment provider for neighborhood residents, the Center delivers parent and family engagement activities before and after school, on the weekends, and during summer months.

Here at The Rainbow Dreams Early Learning Academy we believe in the importance of developing the whole child by being attentive to their physical, social, cultural, cognitive, and emotional needs. With parents as our partners, we endeavor to help our students establish a love for learning that will last them a lifetime.

At The Rainbow Dreams Early Learning Academy our curriculum will align with the Nevada Pre-K-Content Standards as adopted by the Nevada State Board of Education and professional standards approved by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The ECE will provide a minimum of 5 hours per day and 25 hours per week of Pre-K and Kindergarten class instruction time and will follow the attendance policy of the Clark County School District Board of Trustees.
