EXPLORE RAINBOW DREAMS ACADEMY
Rainbow Dreams Academy is a public charter school committed to providing our students a strong educational foundation.
Rainbow Dreams Academy is a public charter school sponsored by the Clark County School District and committed to providing our students a strong educational foundation. The Academy officially opened its doors on August 27, 2007, with 52 students in full-day kindergarten, first, and second grades. On February 4, 2008, we moved from a temporary location into our newly constructed, 13,028 square foot, state-of-the-art facility.
Our mission is to educate and prepare our students to challenge their intellect, maximize their talents, respect themselves and others and take pride in their heritage in a nurturing learning community.
Rainbow Dreams Academy believes in the importance of developing the whole child, attending to their physical, social, cultural, cognitive, and emotional needs. With parents as our partners, we endeavor to help students establish a love for learning that will last a lifetime.
Under the leadership of our 1st principal, Mrs. Carol A. Threats, we adopted the following school creed:
I have Faith in myself.
I have Faith in my teachers.
I will accept my duties and responsibilities.
I respect others and seek their respect.
I have self-respect.
I have self-control.
I can learn if I study hard.
I will learn because I will study hard.
I love myself, and loving myself,
I will be myself, and know myself.
I am the one who is talking.
